At Pho Hoa, the star of the menu is undoubtedly the Beef Noodle Soup (Pho). Each bowl is a symphony of rich flavors, with various offerings like the Pho Tai, featuring tender steak, or the Pho Chin, a savory blend of brisket and meatballs. Priced at $15.99, each option is not just a meal but a heartfelt experience. Kids are equally catered to with tailored options, ensuring that even the youngest patrons can indulge in the love for pho.
For those who crave something different, Pho Hoa also presents delicious fried rice varieties. The Com Chien Duong Chau, a delightful mix of shrimp, chicken, and Chinese sausage for $17.99, exemplifies the fusion of flavors that keeps customers returning.
As echoed by patrons like Wendy J., the lemongrass chicken stands out, with reviewers praising the crunchy, juicy chicken wings that grace the menu. Concerns about cleanliness and service are met with reassurance from customers like Julie T., who appreciates the late-night hours – a rarity for late-shift workers – and the ample parking that eases the dining out experience.
Perhaps the most compelling testament to Pho Hoa Noodle Soup’s appeal comes from Julianna M., who has savored their offerings for years. Her enthusiasm is infectious as she claims it's simply the best pho in the Cities, a sentiment echoed in the comforting bowls of steaming broth served with pride. Additionally, their banh mi sandwiches are a must-try, perfectly complementing the noodle soups and adding to the diverse menu that keeps patrons hooked.

The lemongrass chicken is my favorite. The chicken wings are crunchy and juicy. Lots to choose from. Easy parking.
Thank you for staying open late! Late-night Asian food options are so rare in the Twin Cities, it's almost a joke. That's why I appreciate you being open--it's a great option for those of us who work late and want to eat out or grab something to take home. Why settle for fast food when you can have freshly prepared dishes here? I also love the big parking lot; it saves the hassle of searching for street parking in this area. I've seen some mixed reviews, but I've never encountered dirty condiments or slow service here. Even at 9 PM on a weeknight when they were packed, the staff did a great job. We could all use a little patience--why rush when you can savor a delicious, steaming bowl of pho? Everything I ordered was fantastic, and with winter around the corner, I'll definitely be coming back more often.
I'm usually not a big patron of chain restaurants, especially any non-American food; but I didn't know it was a chain before I got there. I was really impressed by the depth in the menu, so variety! I'm a pho lover and I usually just get the beef. This was an incredibly good broth, much beefier than others. I didn't find it to be overly greasy or salty, robust without being heavy. The egg roll was HEARTY, and I loved that they sold them individually. The service was so excellent as well. The one thing I was not geeked about was the cleanliness of the condiments are on the table. Everything was a mess and the chili oil was super dry. But I'm still gonna go back.
Omg!!!!! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for the last 5 years. We LOVE this place. The pho is so authentic and delicious every single time. I love their bah mis. We love the price. GO HERE BEST PHO EVER IN THE CITIES
Pho and spring rolls were quite delicious! The service was quite fine as well! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It is such an amazing spot. Its always been so strange to me that it isnt well known. They must do some magic to that food because it has you craving it like crazy after that first you indulge in it!! The best food ever. And its so cheap too. By far the best pho spot in Minneapolis. Service is sometimes a little slow but what can you expect when its only 2-4 people working? Either way they are so kind and welcoming. And the restaurant has been under some renovations since the first time i went in. And its getting more and more beautiful!
Pho Hoa is the place. The place for the BEST cold weather comfort food in Minneapolis. The soup is just incredible-homemade, warming, full of meat/noodles/veggies. Absolutely get the cream cheese wontons too-so much cream cheese inside, and crispy on the outside!! Thai tea is also incredible and I crave it!! The service is so friendly and incredibly fast. The place is so casual and the perfect place to meet friends!! This place also has a PARKING LOT!! For eat street, this is a game changer. You have to go here. One of the hidden gems of the twin cities!!
My comfort food spot in Minneapolis when I don't know where else to go for food! In comparison to many phở spots that I have been to in the Twin Cities, Phở Hòa is pretty solid because as much as the food here can never been compared to home-cooked Vietnamese meals, they still do a good job providing decent quality food that one can still enjoy if they do not feel like cooking that day. The phở broth is better than that from most places that I have been to. I am not sure if they have Bún Bò Huế because I don't recall seeing it here, but I have had the Bún Bò Xào before here and it tastes pretty good to me. The tofu is well pan-fried, and the onion is nicely caramelized. Mixing them with the noodles allows flavors to combine nicely. In terms of phở, I am always going for #97, which is Phở Chín, Nạm, Gầu, Gân, Sách, meaning brisket, flank, fatty flank, tendon, and tripe. Again, it's the broth that counts, but meat lovers will have #97 as a good option for sure. One can also order #91, which, instead of brisket, has steak instead, and everything else is the same. It seems like this restaurant is actually a chain business which I did not realize until my friend in Boston went to the one there! Even on Nicollet Ave, commonly known as Eat Street, with several Vietnamese restaurants, this place still stands out as a solid option for one to get comfort food. Service was pretty fast and on point. You should not be expecting anything above and beyond simply because that's not the way these small Asian restaurants do it, but the waitresses get the job done, and that is more than enough for me! One thing to know, which I am not sure if it applies nowadays, is that they might charge extra if you pay with a credit card.
Pretty decent lunch experience, stopped in on Wednesday and it wasn't too busy. Service was friendly and fast, food came out fast as well. Pho was steaming hot and wontons were cooked to perfection. Small space with a lot of seating too and Apple Pay is accepted.
